An engineer by education, Karishma is a certified Mountaineer from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand) and a National level Rifle shooter. She turned her life journey from an engineer to becoming a Wellness Coach, Rifle Shooter, and Mountaineer and decided to follow her passion. She has been a yoga practitioner for the past 8 years, and has furthered her yoga journey from Pune University, Kerala and Rishikesh. She has been featured in Times of India and Door darshan for bringing healthy change in people’s life through Yoga.
She is also passionate about her Rifle shooting. She has won many Gold medals at the State level and is now part of the National Selection Trials currently pursuing her dream of the Olympics and meanwhile exploring her spiritual journey through yoga. She strongly believes that yoga provides a better living from not only gaining flexibility, strength, and toning but allows us to achieve holistic health and happiness through regular practice. Yoga is not to be viewed as fitness but as a way of living

Initial theory discussion was helpful in improving our knowledge about the purpose of Yoga and how to utilize yoga both for lifestyle as well as in our shooting The asanas were simple and Karishma was very patient to describe them properly as well as correct everyone individually. She covered asanas a for the whole body as well as relaxation. So it was a very informative session.

Unlike other trainers, Ms. Karishma, with her modern approach, was excellent in introducing Yoga in a very easy and meaning full way. Keeping the traditional values alive, her explanation about different yoga postures and its practical benefit for a rifle shooter was a motivation booster for me to welcome Yoga in my everyday life. Even though it was an online session, she was able to give her time on everyone and was able to guide us to carryout yoga correctly. Thank you
